The Chronoswiss Strike Two Stellar Blue draws inspiration from starlight in motion: A mechanical timepiece where every detail orbits precision and watchmaking poetry. Its deep blue CVD-coated dial is hand-guillochéd in unique patterns, echoing the velocity of light, while the silver-rhodinated small second sub-dial hovers above like a guiding satellite. Encased in matte grey stainless steel and powered by the Manufacture Caliber C.6000, it’s limited to 100 pieces and made for those who move on their own trajectory.
The new manufacture movement from Chronoswiss, marks a significant advancement in the brand's engineering excellence. First introduced in the Delphis line 2023 (C.6004), this movement is distinguished by its ruthenium plating, a tungsten rotor and a Côtes de Genève finishing radiating from the center & echoing the brand's signature ray Guilloché. Developed in collaboration with La Joux-Perret, featuring 55 hours of Power reserve this complex movement is to be found in the next generation timepieces of Chronoswiss.
Guilloché is a traditional technique, which engraves detailed, interwoven lines on surfaces, creating unique light patterns. Chronoswiss excels in this art, producing dials with precise, radiating designs using two main guilloché machines: the straight-line and rose engine. Despite the absence of manuals for over two centuries, Master-Guillocheurs have maintained their expertise through a deep understanding of these machines. Creating one of those complex dials takes several hours. Today, Chronoswiss's guilloché dials stand as both a tribute to and a celebration of this enduring craft, showcasing its timeless appeal with a modern twist.
Chronoswiss harnesses the versatility of CVD coatings to infuse watch cases and dials with vibrant hues like blue, purple, and color-shifting tones. This complex gas-phase process enables precise, uniform coatings even on complex surfaces, optimizing for durability, resistance, and aesthetic appeal.
