It all began over 70 years ago, when the late Abdo Azzam carried a suitcase filled with watches and spare parts, turning a simple passion into an empire that became a symbol of quality and authenticity. 

From Train Stations to the Largest Watch Market in the Middle East

The beginning was nothing short of an extraordinary journey of perseverance. 

In the 1940s and 1950s, our founder started as a commission salesman, then opened a wholesale shop, studying the market with sharp insight and laying the foundation for a vast trade network. 

In the 1960s, the dream became reality with the purchase of the first fully integrated watch assembly and manufacturing factory from Yugoslavia, making it the first Egyptian factory to produce watches that rivaled global brands. 

A historic transformation followed as he turned a building that was once a pub in Attaba into the largest wholesale watch market in the region, turning a symbol of decline into a beacon of trade and success. 

A Vision Ahead of Its Time: From Switzerland to Japan and China

Pioneers don’t wait. We imported luxury Swiss watches before anyone else, then turned east to build strategic partnerships with factories in Japan, China, and India, becoming the first to introduce quartz technology in Egypt.
